I accepted Christ at 8 years old and attended church faithfully until I entered the Air Force in 1967. At that point I strayed, but in 1973 I met my wonderful wife Kay and I recommitted my life to Jesus. It doesn’t seem possible. but that was almost 46 years ago. We have always attended church regularly and for a few years presented weekend seminars for Christian Marriage Encounter. I taught adult Bible class for many years at our previous church. Kay and I love serving in different capacities and believe in the church as an institution created by God to reach those who need to hear the Gospel. I also believe in the fellowship of believers in a church body where we can stay close to God and each other. Early last year our son, his wife, and our two grandsons moved to Tucson. Our other son, daughter-in-law, and two granddaughters live in California, so we decided to move here to be close to our family. While earlier visiting our good friends Kevin and Milly (who we met in St. Louis) we attended church with them at Saguaro Canyon. We fell in love with the pastors, people, and the warm and open fellowship we feel here and became members in the Fall of 2018. We plan on continuing to be active in this church for a long time to come.
